On Tuesday May 17, 2016, Ms. Pimchanok and the Saisamorn Family invited Phrakhrubhavanavidesa, the Abbot of Seattle Meditation Center, to teach meditation at YWCA, which is an organization to help poor women in the downtown of Vancouver, Canada.
There was a seminar on meditation on the topic of “Meditation makes your mind more effective” on Saturday October 3rd, 2015 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. This seminar was held by Toyo University and the staff invited three professors from three universities
The meditation retreat was held on 18.30-20.30 on Tuesday and Thursday, for 8 times, at Wat Bharvana Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar City, Mongolia. The retreat was organized by Wat Bharvana Mongolia and the teaching monk was Phra Wancharoem Samawongso.
On Sunday March 27th, 2016, the Japanese Meditation Center was invited by Mr. Anomoto and his family to teach meditation for Japanese in Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka Prefecture.
On Tuesday June 28th, 2016 Professor Watanabe Shogo of Toyo University, Japan invited the teaching monk, Ven. Dr. Chattapong Katipanyayo, from the Meditation Center Tokyo, Japan, to give a lecture on the topic of “Buddhism in Thailand and the Meditation Methods for Lay People” for faculty members and university students at Toyo University.
Meditation is important to the lives of everyone, not least the life of the householder, family life and life in society – contributing to peace in the world.
